It’s 750 years since Robert the Bruce was born! Celebrate his big birthday fact-finding trail across Dumfries and Galloway.
- Join us on Sunday 23 June and 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 & 21 July, to hear more about the connections to Robert the Bruce and Caerlaverock Castle as we celebrate the 750th anniversary of his birth.
- Talks will be at 11am and 2.30pm, meeting at the visitor centre. Included in ticket price.
Its fairytale appearance means the castle is also a popular filming location. Caerlaverock features in The Decoy Bride, a romantic comedy starring David Tennant and Kelly Macdonald.
